I’ve been following Garyvee’s posts and videos a lot lately and have decided to heed his advice and start building my personal brand.
So what does that mean?
It means I’ll be posting all my content here on BrianBreslin.com, it means I will no longer be posting on my webpl.us blog or on any other blogs I may have started. Why spread the effort when it can be concentrated here and put to better use.
I will also be posting more videos and multi media content here, so keep your eyes peeled for that stuff. I also intend on tweaking what we think of as a personal homepage.
This post was inspired by Allen Stern’s post of people he’d like to meet in 2008 (sadly, I was not included in his list!). So I am going to list out the things I’d like to do in 2008.
- Speak at a barcamp
- Speak at a major conference (FOWA, or SXSW, etc.)
- Travel more (targets this year: South America, Australia, Europe, and Asia)
- Learn more portuguese and japanese.
- Get some snowboarding in. (either in this hemisphere or the southern…)
- meet more famous people so i can name drop
j/k
- Blog more
- do more videos
- become an international man of mystery…. or just internet famous. whichever is easier
- expand my real like social graph
- have more fun.
so what do you want to do this year?
I want to send out a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made 2007 such an incredible year. I’ve learned a lot, met a lot of new people, and had some great memories the last 12 months. I can only assume that 2008 will be even better, and I hope you are all with me on what I expect to be a very exciting journey next year.
I’ll try and post a goals post later, maybe a recap post too.
Merry christmas, happy Hanukkah, merry Kwanzaa, and a happy new year.

I was discussing something with my favorite coworker
and decided I would share the conversation.

So I figured I would share a few pics of my setup at my office. I’m kinda proud of it. One of these days, once I finish organizing the office a bit better, I’ll post pics of the rest. So here are the details:
- Mac pro (2×2.66Ghz Dual Core Xeon - 3GB Ram)
- 2 Dell 20″ digital widescreen monitors
- Microsoft natural keyboard
- Logitech mouse
- Powerbook g4 1.5ghz

p.s. the shot of me talking to myself was x’s idea.
