So this is my third stab at writing this post, and let me tell you, its not as easy as it sounds. In principle, I should be able to just whip out a quick reason for why I am doing this, but in reality, it is far harder than it seems to get one or two quick answers for this. The gist of why I am doing this is mainly because I’ve always had a thing for writing my personal opinions in public forums, and I figure I’ve got a lot of experience to throw into this arena. The alterior motives are mainly to see what I can do with this and prove to myself that personal publishing on the web can still be mastered this day in age despite the hoardes of new competition.

If you were looking for a more philosophical reason, then sadly I’m afraid you are out of luck. However I will try and provide you, the readers, with as much blunt and educated opinion on the current trends as I can. Hopefully you enjoy it, pass it on to your friends, and this does not become read only by other geeks like me.

These problems are probably eliminated in areas where posting costs $ (San fran, ny, LA, etc.), ... Continue reading

What do you mean? Well glad you asked. The general idea from what we've seen here and there is the insertion of 15-30 second spots at the beginning and end of a podcast. Usually this is done by the podcaster himself (if he has access to the media the sponsor wants inserted), if not then maybe the publisher handles this later (a time-waster if you ask me). Ok so now that we have inserted the ads, where do we make our money? Well that is where the ... Continue reading
